David Mundy is recognised for his expertise in all aspects of public, regulatory, administrative, and constitutional law. He regularly comments on the constitutional and EU law issues resulting from Brexit including the European (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and related legislation, and advises on devolution issues associated with Brexit. With extensive experience of legislative procedures, David has advised on Private Members’ Bills, drafted, promoted, and opposed a variety of legislation and amendments to public legislation, and been an advisor on parliamentary select committees.
Public authority clients value his advice on their obligations under the new Procurement Act and related regimes, and under the EU Directives and the Public Contracts Regulations in the public purchasing of works, goods, and services. He also advises on state aid, competition, grants, and loans.
David is a member of the Law Society, the Compulsory Purchase Association, and the Procurement Lawyers Association.
