Julian has broad experience in corporate and commercial dispute resolution and High Court litigation, primarily in the engineering, TMT, pensions, financial, and professional services sectors. He also regularly advises businesses on contract terminations and on the rights, obligations, and risks within contracts.
His particular expertise is in conducting litigation relating to breaches of fiduciary and directors’ duties, contracts, insolvency, pensions, and corporate trusts. He also specialises in fraud and business crime, including fraudulent accounting, fraudulent investment schemes, and professional negligence (auditors, solicitors, and other professional advisors to businesses and pension schemes).
Julian is the firm’s principal pensions litigator, regularly acting for representative beneficiaries in litigation concerning the construction and rectification of scheme documentation. He is a member of the Law Society, the Association of Pension Lawyers (APL), and the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
