Chris Holmes is a Legal Director in Broadfield’s Reading office. He advises on all aspects of planning law, acting for housing developers to negotiate section 106 agreements for residential and mixed used schemes, affordable housing provision, and pre-acquisition planning due diligence. He also advises on a wide range of infrastructure agreements and highway matters, as well as Community Infrastructure Levy and Asset of Community Value issues. His experience extends to dealing with judicial review proceedings and high court appeals in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Chris has a track record that includes advising the LPA in relation to the planning agreement for the Sizewell C nuclear power plant, advising a developer in relation to a section 106 agreement for a £3.75bn data centre in Hertfordshire, and advising a promoter in relation to Dorset Council’s first biodiversity net gain habitat bank.
Chris is a member of the Law Society.
