Asten Hawkes

Asten is a Senior Associate in the employment team, based in Broadfield’s Reading office, where she assists and advises on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. She has experience of dealing with wrongful and unfair dismissal claims, whistleblowing, TUPE transfers, redundancy and grievance, capability, and disciplinary procedures. She also has a background in helping to draft and review employment contracts and policies, and advising on protected/without prejudice conversations and settlement agreements.

Asten qualified in September 2019, having undertaken her training contract with Broadfield. As a trainee, she gained broad experience in a number of seats, including insolvency and restructuring, pensions, property, as well as corporate and commercial.
