William Roberts-Phelps is an experienced family law specialist, dealing with a wide range of matters including matrimonial financial disputes, cohabitation/TOLATA proceedings, children matters, domestic and freezing injunctions, divorce, and nuptial agreements. He often acts in complex HNW and UHNW finance matters, which may include assets situated outside the jurisdiction and/or within corporate or trust structures. With experience of TOLATA, he also deals with issues relating to unmarried couples, cohabitees or members of a wider family.
In addition, William advises on all types of private law child disputes, including leave to remove applications. His expertise also extends to cases involving physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, substantive emotional harm allegations, or substance misuse. He often acts in arbitration and roundtable negotiations, and where this is not appropriate, he is also a skilled litigation strategist and court advocate.
William is a member of both the Law Society and Resolution.
