About
Taylor Bleistein focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She represents employers in both litigation and arbitration proceedings in New York and California, while also providing day-to-day advice and counsel to employers operating nationwide. Her clients span a range of industries, including education, construction, healthcare, energy, and nonprofit sectors. Taylor advises on a broad spectrum of labor and compliance issues, handles grievance arbitrations, and advocates for clients before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). She also has experience supporting employers during union organizing drives, negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements, and navigating complex labor relations matters.
Taylor conducts workplace investigations into allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct, reviewing all relevant policies, procedures, and other documents to advise clients accordingly based on the findings. She also defends employers in employment-related litigation involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations under federal and state laws.
In her counseling practice, Taylor regularly assists employers with personnel matters, including reviewing, drafting, and updating employee handbooks, paid leave and anti-discrimination policies, hiring and promotion practices, DEI initiatives, and separation agreements. She also advises on compliance with key federal and state employment statutes, including the WARN Act, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, ADA, Title VII, and Title IX, as well as relevant New York State, New York City, and California employment laws.
Taylor’s approach is shaped by her prior work as a legal intern with the NLRB’s Region 29 office, where she gained hands-on experience conducting investigations, drafting legal memoranda, interviewing witnesses, and preparing recommendations for the regional director.
