Spencer Annetts is a Team Leader in the new build team at Broadfield’s Reading office, which is an integral part of the firm’s real estate development team. With over 25 years’ experience acting for house builder clients, Spencer has the expertise to lead his team in all aspects of development set up.

The new build team supports a range of house builder clients, offering end-to-end specialist advice on land acquisition, tax, infrastructure and planning, construction, and dispute resolution. It specialises in setting up developments, including advising on freehold, leasehold, and mixed-use sites, management companies, infrastructure agreements, shared ownership, and ground rent investor sales. It also offers knowledge and experience of market trends, including the challenges facing residential developers.

Spencer’s team contributes to a variety of work, from preparing legal documentation for new developments, to ensuring a smooth transition from site acquisition through setup, plot sales, and handover.
