Robert Wallace specialises in acting for national and regional housebuilders and promoters on a variety of large and small sites in both allocated and more strategic areas. He is experienced in acquiring and disposing of land through conditional and unconditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements, and share purchases. His expertise also extends to more bespoke development arrangements including joint ventures, site assemblies, and overage, as well as assisting with secured development finance.
Robert’s track record includes representing a promoter in the sale of a £38m 262 unit project in Surrey containing one of the country’s first Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspaces. He also acted for a Plc housebuilder in a £15m acquisition in Hertfordshire, involving an offsite agreement to secure biodiversity net gain units, and he completed a purchase for an SME housebuilder of 25 dwellings in Oxfordshire in two weeks from instructions.
