Rick Munro has extensive experience in contentious insolvency cases. With a career spanning 30+ years, he has successfully resolved a variety of disputes, particularly claims associated with company insolvency, fraud, and boardroom/shareholder disputes.
As an accredited mediator (CEDR, ADR, CADR), Rick has a strong track record of recovering money for insolvency practitioners. His experience includes acting for the liquidators of Bank of Credit and Commerce International, and acting for an aircraft maintenance company against their former director in a lengthy breach of duty claim regarding diversion of valuable contract.
Rick is admitted as a Solicitor in both England and Wales and Hong Kong jurisdictions. He is recommended in the Ninth Edition of The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom and the Best Lawyers Business Edition for Insolvency and Restructuring Law in Southampton. He is a member of the Law Society and a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
