Pam Thompson has been registered as a Roll C Parliamentary Clerk for 34 years. During her career, she has gained vast experience relating to private and hybrid Bills, Harbour Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders, Development Consent Orders and other forms of statutory consent. She is known for her expertise in the field of procedural requirements for the authorisation of legislation.
Pam has worked on an extensive range of Orders and Acts, including London Underground’s Victoria Station upgrade, London Cable Car, National Grid (Hinkley Point C Connection Project), Boston Barrier, Edinburgh Tram Acts, Humber Bridge Act, New Southgate Cemetery Act, Middle Level Act, and Highgate Cemetery Act. She has also worked on the opposition to five hybrid Bills, including Severn Bridges, Cardiff Bay Barrage, Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Crossrail, and High Speed 2.
Pam is a member of the Parliamentary Clerks’ Society and the National Infrastructure Planning Association.
