Marcus McCluggage is a Partner in Broadfield’s Reading office, with extensive experience of working with clients on residential developments and commercial property. In particular, he specialises in acquisitions and disposals, conditional contracts, option and promotion agreements, and lease drafting and negotiation.
He is known for working with a range of clients, including advising both landlords and tenants. His significant track record includes acting for a landlord in the letting of a new office building to various tenants for a combined annual rent of over £1 million and in the subsequent sale of the building to a cash investor for circa £26 million. He has also acted for a developer coordinating the acquisition of four separate component sites held by different owners, and he acted for a promoter on the sale of a 150 unit residential development site to a national house builder.
Marcus is a member of the Law Society.
