Lewis is an experienced planning and environment lawyer who has worked closely with developers, public sector organisations and businesses at all stages of their projects and matters. Lewis qualified in Australia and has regularly appeared on behalf of clients and instructed Counsel in court proceedings in Queensland.
Lewis has represented clients in relation to residential, commercial and major mixed-use developments and in negotiating acceptable conditions of approval. He has advised local governments in protecting their interests in relation to proposed developments and on their duties and obligations as public bodies. Lewis has also assisted clients in helping them understand their rights in regards to compulsory purchase of land matters, lawful use of land, and the management and preservation of vegetation and key environmental attributes on their land.
Lewis is a member of the Queensland Law Society.
