Kristel Caton has developed a deep understanding of commercial property transactional work and regeneration schemes since she began her career in local government, working in a shared service. She joined the firm in 2019, specialising in the property aspects of major infrastructure projects, including the implementation of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs) by compulsory purchase and agreement.

Her track record includes advising on a variety of projects. These include the property aspects on the promotion of a DCO for a major junction improvement for National Highways, the implementation by compulsory purchase and agreement on a transmission line connection project, and the land acquisition of a viaduct and station for the extension of a railway on a complex site pursuant to a TWAO.

Kristel is a member of both the Law Society and the Compulsory Purchase Association.
