Katie Lewis advises a range of clients on residential property matters, from buying their first home to collectively enfranchising residential blocks where they are a leaseholder. With a background as a social housing lawyer, Katie has experience of a wide range of real estate matters, including shared ownership resales, staircasing, deeds of grant, wayleave agreements, large scale charging exercises, purchases, sales, lease extensions, and many other small land transactions. She also has specialist experience in leasehold enfranchisement, incorporating statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and the right of first refusal pursuant to Section 5 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
Her expertise spans acting for individuals, large registered providers, and charities, and she has advised on a variety of residential property matters, from leasehold enfranchisement to the release of restrictive covenants. She also has experience of working on major regeneration projects.
