Judith Millar has extensive experience in UK and international trust and estate planning, advising a range of clients on restructuring UK and non-UK trusts to benefit different generations, and the implications of changes in tax treatment.
Judith also offers domicile and residence advice to non-UK domiciled individuals. She is experienced in working with foreign lawyers on cross-border succession planning and has a particular interest in pre-nuptial agreements for clients with connections in a number of different jurisdictions.
Her expertise in this field has been recognised in the ninth edition of The Best Lawyers in the UK, the Best Global Lawyers Business Edition for trusts and personal tax law in London, Who’s Who Legal, and the eprivateclient 50 Most Influential UK and global offshore private client practitioners of 2024. She is a member of both the Law Society and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
