Jonathan Fewster has extensive experience of commercial real estate matters, advising on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, property finance, and development projects. His primary aim is to support clients in realising value from their real estate assets. He works with corporates, private clients, trusts and family offices to build and manage property investment portfolios. He also works with overseas clients making inward investment into the UK property market.
Jonathan also heads Broadfield’s charity real estate practice, which specialises in advising charities and third sector clients on real estate matters, particularly when they are dealing with commercial parties or arrangements that require regulatory approval. He regularly advises clients at board level and often sits on client property investment committees. He also has a wealth of experience in advising charity trustees on their duties in dealing with real estate and the statutory requirements applying to charity land.
Jonathan is known for providing clear, pro-active, commercial advice, with one client praising “his expert advice, insight and input” in Chambers & Partners 2025. He is a member of both the Law Society and the Charity Law Association.
