Jonathan Brinsden is an experienced Partner who advises on a wide variety of commercial and constitutional issues affecting charities. He has assisted a number of charities with Charity Commission schemes and other regulatory issues relating to their activities, and is the first point of contact for many charity chief executives.

Jonathan’s many areas of expertise include NHS charity regulation and impact investment, advising charities which operate internationally with their cross-border activities, and advising on fundraising.
Jonathan is individually ranked as a Band 1 charities lawyer in Chambers and Partners UK 2020, which described him as “pragmatic and user-friendly, and able to explain complex legal theories in a straight-forward manner.” Jonathan is a member of The Law Society, and a trustee of several charities. He is also a frequent contributor to charities media databases.
