Jocelyn Contato is a commercial litigator with experience of acting for a variety of clients including corporate businesses as well as high profile and high net worth individuals on a wide range of contentious matters. She advises on all aspects of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on complex commercial disputes, matters involving misrepresentation, claims for civil fraud and breaches of contract, fiduciary and directors’ duties, and reputation management.
Her experience includes acting for the former joint administrators of a Formula One team in a multi-million pound claim for negligence, negligent misrepresentation and breach of confidence. She also advised on numerous substantial and complex interim applications in a multi-party trust dispute involving breaches of fiduciary duty, and she represented and advised high profile phone hacking victims in claims against News Group and Mirror Group newspapers.
Jocelyn is a member of both the Law Society and The London Solicitors Litigation Association.
