About

Jun Hyon ‘Henry’ Nahm is an associate based in New York. His practice concentrates on emerging companies, venture capital, private equity and growth investments, and general corporate matters. He advises founders, management teams, and investors on legal and commercial issues that arise throughout the company lifecycle, from formation and initial financings to strategic transactions and governance.

Henry’s experience includes leading deal teams on equity financing transactions, preparing and negotiating NVCA documentation and bespoke purchase agreements, and managing diligence processes. He regularly coordinates input from specialists across tax, employment, IP, and other practice areas to support efficient execution and provide clear guidance on key risk areas.

He also advises international clients on cross-border transactions, including corporate flips and U.S. spin-off transactions, and supports clients on corporate governance issues such as equity grants, reorganizations, and ongoing board and stakeholder matters.

Before joining Broadfield, Henry practiced with the ECVC and corporate groups at Lowenstein Sandler and Reitler Kailas and Rosenblatt. Earlier, he advised institutional lenders on asset-backed and structured finance matters at Milbank. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and holds dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a native of South Korea and a veteran of the Republic of Korea Army, and has served as a UN Peacekeeper in South Sudan during the South Sudanese Civil War.
