Grace has extensive experience advising global clients on handling inquiries and investigations before major regulators in the U.S. and Asia, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, the U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Her practice covers cases involving allegations of fraud, securities enforcement actions, corruption and bribery, money laundering, and violations of sanctions, export controls, data privacy, and national security laws.

Furthermore, Grace has established a distinguished reputation for advising private equity and private capital investors, global asset management firms, and multinational corporations on managing international risks associated with cross-border investments and operations in Asia. Her areas of expertise include compliance diligence, negotiation of compliance representations and warranties in transactions, post-investment risk assessments, implementation of compliance programs, and conducting compliance audits and training.

In addition, Grace has advised clients on a broad spectrum of complex domestic and international commercial disputes, both in court and arbitration, across various jurisdictions including Hong Kong, China, the United States, and the United Kingdom. She specializes in areas including fraud, insolvency, asset preservation, shareholder and M&A disputes, directors’ duties, privilege matters, and employment issues.

Grace began her career at Hogan Lovells International LLP and later practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She received her legal education under both common and civil law systems and is qualified to practice law in Hong Kong, the United States, and Mainland China. Her unique legal and cultural background, combined with her trilingual skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, allows her to deliver practical, tailored legal solutions that meet her clients’ business and legal needs.
