Elizabeth Neale is a Partner specialising in tax, probate, trusts, and will and estate planning for UK families and non UK domiciliaries. She has particular expertise in complex probates with an international element, advising on estates with assets in many countries. She also advises on inheritance tax reliefs and exemptions, conditional exemption claims, and offers in lieu of tax.
Her estate administration work includes advising on structuring trusts for the long-term management of death in service benefits, and the related inheritance tax issues. She has advised on the creation and payment of benefits from excepted group life assurance trusts, and advises both trustees and beneficiaries of UK trusts on trust and tax issues. Elizabeth also advises individuals and charities in connection with disputed wills and applications for statutory wills.
Elizabeth is a member of both the Law Society’s Private Client Section, and Professional Advisors to the International Art Market.
