David Williams

David Williams has broad general restructuring and insolvency experience in both corporate and personal insolvency procedures. His specific area of expertise is in distressed property situations, particularly the property insolvency issues that arise in relation to corporate insolvency and restructurings. He also advises on general commercial dispute resolution, particularly when it includes a property element, and he assists with debt claims, breaches of contract, and shareholder disputes.

He advises a wide range of clients, including insolvency practitioners, LPA & Fixed Charge Receivers, companies, directors, individuals, banks, and invoice discounters. In distressed property situations, he is also experienced in negotiating with, or for, landlords, tenants, lenders, CVA supervisors, administrators, liquidators, LPA Receivers, or Trustees in Bankruptcy.

David has been recognised in The Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’. He is a member of the Law Society, the Property Litigation Association, and the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers.
