Carolyn Walker is a lawyer in the residential development team, focusing on affordable housing. She is experienced in the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property, development agreements, collaboration agreements, joint ventures, secured lending, and development funding.
Carolyn’s clients include developers and lenders, not-for-profit organisations, and all types of registered providers of social housing. Having worked in several local authorities and registered social housing providers, she has a full understanding of her clients’ objectives. Her track record includes acting for a national housebuilder on a five year programme of phased disposals of affordable housing with a package value circa £50 million, assisting in the sale of a luxury housebuilder for over £300 million, and acting for a developer in the sale of extra care housing with a package value in excess of £55 million.
Carolyn is a member of both the Law Society and the Chartered Institute of Housing.
