Bradley W. Austin is an associate based in New York. His practice focuses on litigation and counseling in labor and employment, municipal liability, and related regulatory matters. He brings experience from government agencies and private practice, with a focus on fact development, motion practice, and efficient case management.

Before joining Broadfield, Bradley served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department’s Tort Division. He handled discovery and dispositive motions, represented the City at conferences and oral argument across all five boroughs, and negotiated resolutions as appropriate.

Bradley’s employment law experience includes externships with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Labor Bureau. There, he worked on wage-and-hour enforcement, noncompete policy, and pattern-and-practice discrimination matters. Earlier in his career, he served as a paralegal and investigative analyst in the New York County District Attorney’s Office, supporting grand jury presentations in complex investigations.

He earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served on the New York International Law Review and received Dean’s List recognition. He holds a B.A., cum laude, in History and Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross.
