Andrew Smith is a highly experienced real estate lawyer, with extensive commercial property expertise, including acquisitions and disposals, investment, regeneration, and development. He also specialises in the real estate aspects of major infrastructure schemes.
Andrew’s track record includes advising National Grid on the Hinkley Point C Connection 60km power line Development Consent Order (DCO), where he led the team involved in acquisition of rights from approximately 300 land owners. He also advised Transport for London on both the Victoria Station upgrade and the Emirates Air Line.
Andrew was Chair of the Victoria Westminster Business Improvement District (BID), and he is currently Chair of the new Culture Mile BID in the City of London. He is also a member of the Law Society.
