Alexander Morgan

Alexander Morgan is a Legal Director in our Reading office, specialising in will drafting, complex IHT returns and other tax calculations, probate applications and estate administration involving APR, BPR and Excluded Property Trusts, elderly client care matters, and the creation of powers of attorney. He also has experience of applying to the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act, and setting up and running English trusts.

His previous experience includes dealing with the estate administration of a successful businessman with cross-border issues, involving a 1975 Act claim against the estate, business property, and reduced rate charity calculations. He has also administered a multimillion pound estate which comprised assets in several jurisdictions.

Alexander is a member of both the Law Society and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and he possesses the STEP Advanced Certificates in Taxation of Trusts & Estates, and Trust Administration.
