Alastair Collett is a highly experienced Partner, applying his expertise to advise both individuals and trustees on complex issues of trust and charity law. He is known for his ability to offer reliable advice on UK and international trust and estate planning to individuals, families, and trustees who want to preserve assets and pass on newly created or inherited wealth to the next generation. He also provides highly respected advice on UK immigration and nationality matters to investors who wish to come to the UK.
In addition, Alastair acts for a variety of charities and royal charter corporations, including livery companies, dealing with constitutional and governance issues and advising on the establishment of new entities.
He is a member of both the Law Society and the Charity Law Association. He was Master of the City of London Solicitors Company in 2004/5, and remains a member of the Company’s Court.
