Alan Davies has over 35 years of experience advising insurers, businesses, and other organisations in defending employer’s liability, public liability, and property damage claims. He is highly experienced in advising and representing clients on health and safety issues, regulatory compliance, and risk management, as well as defending product liability claims for insurers and corporate clients.
His experience includes defending numerous civil claims for damages allegedly arising from breaches of workplace health and safety obligations, breaches of statutory duty, and negligence. He has acted in the investigation of many employee claims for damages for industrial disease, including asbestos exposure and noise-induced hearing loss, and he has dealt with investigations by HSE and EHOs into alleged breaches of The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Machinery Directive, COSHH, Fire Regulations, and related legislation.
Alan is a member of both the Law Society and Global Law Expert: Product Liability.
