12 May 2025 (London) – Broadfield UK has strengthened its corporate offering by hiring a four-person private equity team from Trowers & Hamlins, including Partners Sarah Souter and Mark Metcalfe, who were previously responsible for building out Gateley’s private equity team in the South. They are joined by Associates Emily Ditchburn and Anisha Grewal.
The team brings extensive experience in the UK lower mid-market advising private equity sponsors, founders, management teams, and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

Souter and Metcalfe worked with members of the Broadfield team earlier in their careers and said the firm’s entrepreneurial platform and growth strategy were key draws.
