Monika Weglarz is a specialist in infrastructure planning, public law and procurement, with a particular interest in the transport sector. She advises extensively on all aspects of the authorisation process for development consent orders (DCOs) under the Planning Act 2008, acting for both promoters and objectors to proposals on a variety of highways, airports, energy, and business and commercial projects. She also advises on projects requiring authorisation under the Transport and Works Act 1992.

Her expertise extends to a variety of public law issues. She regularly provides guidance to a public regulatory body on matters relating to their function and on disciplinary issues, and advises on public procurement strategy and other public body matters. She also informs both individuals and developers on matters under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
