Commenting on joining the firm, Gani said:
Broadfield has a first-class reputation in the energy and infrastructure sectors and is building a worldwide network. It is an exciting time to join the firm and build my practice further.

Phil Smith, partner and head of litigation at Broadfield said:
We are delighted by Gani’s decision to join the firm. It is an exciting prospect for Broadfield as Kazakhstan now has a fully formed international financial centre in Astana where many British judges reside with many cases conducted in accordance with UK law. Central Asia is and will be a large growth market for English law, and we look forward to the contributions Gani will bring.
